Fantastic pro-shot quality is the hallmark of this freshman effort on the Beano label, apparently taken from the master tape.
Video tapes of varying quality from this source were available to collectors for years, and those have spawned several different releases on ROIO labels.
Perhaps the first was on the Applejack label, followed by Way of Wizards (WoW).
Another label to follow suit was Immortal, who managed to get their release into some distribution channels and into legitmate retail sources.
This show has never seen official release in any format on any label, and the Beano release is clearly superior to the others.
A great performance also featuring Mark Knopfler on guitar and Jody Linscott on braless halter top - if only gravity were just a little stronger!
Timed around the release of the groundbreaking "Crossroads" box set, the 1988 tour reinvigorated many classics, and are personal favorites.
All together, this show (and Philadelphia 1988, also on the Beano label) are essential parts of any core EC video collection.
