Still today people ask me about the old guitar torrents that I shared years ago at my first times at the Bay.
They often tell me that is difficult to find them all, cause the TPB search engine sucks, cause their trackers are dead and they seem deserted.
So I've decided to reshare them all with a unifying pattern in the name of the torrent:

Guitar Masters

followed by a progressive number, so those who are interested can find them easily.
They deal primarily with fingerstyle, and the albums they contain are not generally easy to find... so dont expect overall 320 bitrates.
The founding criterion here is to find and remember them as a document of great music of the past.

MICHAEL GULEZIAN

Michael Gulezian is an american composer and fingerstyle guitarist.

He is noted for dramatic compositions, a penchant for manipulating metre, an affinity for extreme open tunings, and an unconventionally free two-handed technical approach. Gulezian's use of bottleneck slide on 12-string guitar, coupled with his command of reverse analog reverbs have made his recordings notable for their dream-like sonic atmosphere. Gulezian inhabits a musical territory between his mentor John Fahey, and his friend and colleague Michael Hedges.

Laurence Juber is an english guitarist (with a past as lead guitarist in McCartney's Wings).

He's a master of acoustic finger style, but with less of the trick-guitar mishmash that seems obligatory among the high-octane pickers. He has a fluid style that shifts gears through simultaneous jazzy chording, leads, and bass lines, while weaving in and out of musical thoughts faster than a Formula One racer...

ISATO NAKAGAWA

Isato Nakagawa is a japanese guitarist.
There's no official site available in western languages as far as I can see, so little I can say about his musical career...

He makes a great use of open tunings and percussive techniques.

I associate his music to the japanese concept of "shibumi": a not glaring beauty, founded on the essence of shapes, hues and materials. It's a subtle balance obtained through a search for simplicity, without useless ornamentation. They say you cant learn shibumi: you got to find it in yourself: it's a path where Nakagawa has threaded far...

It would be nice if some japanese friends would provide more albums of this marvelous artist with a western transliteration of the titles (a friend of mine did this for the album "Footprints"). It's sad that such an artist would remain hidden because of an alphabet difference.
