ABOUT THE FILM

In Belarus, any mention of the post-war anti-Bolshevik resistance movement is banned even today, although state propaganda does occasionally refer to them as \"fascist leftovers and groups of bandits\".

But the Belarusian post-war national resistance movement is clear evidence and an example of how thousands of Belarusian patriots have struggled for their country to be independent.

We dedicate this film to them all, living or dead.

THE STUDIO

PartyzanFilm Studio is the private initiative of some young Belarusians currently living away from their homeland.

The studio was set up to make documentaries and fictional films depicting interesting episodes from Belarusian history and the present day that are little-known to the public, with the long-term goal of raising the Belarusian national consciousness.

All our films and multimedia materials are the result of our own private funds and efforts.
