Set in the Vietnam War period, a group of Chinese convicts are sent into Vietnam by the US government on a deadly mission in exchange for freedom and monetary reward. The group must locate an abandoned ammunitions dump before the violent Vietcong army, led by Yuen Wah, does.
Deep in enemy territory, Sammo Hung and company encounter many dangerous, at times fatal, obstacles, but receive some help from a lethal trio of female guerrilla fighters, including Sammo Hung's real-life wife, Joyce Godenzi.
