Rebuild of Naruto is an unofficial fan edit of the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime series, created to improve the narrative experience.


The project’s author and editor, A Face You Can Trust, began work in 2019 and completed it in 2024.


Project Goal: To offer viewers an enhanced version of the anime, focusing on cohesive storytelling and cinematic quality. Suitable for both longtime fans and newcomers who want to experience the story without unnecessary filler.

Key Features:

1. Chronological Restructuring


2. The plot has been reworked to eliminate inconsistencies caused by flashbacks and retcons in the original.


3. Arcs are merged into feature-length films (e.g., the Chunin Exams are presented as 6 films) for smoother pacing.

Filler Removal:

1. ~90% of filler episodes and scenes cut, retaining only those vital to character/world development.


2. Removed recaps, "previously on" segments, next-episode previews, and repetitive scenes.

Technical Enhancements:

1. Original Naruto upscaled to 1080p with manual color/sharpness correction.


2. Scenes mixing formats (e.g., Naruto flashbacks in Shippuden) reframed for visual consistency.

Coverage:

1. Includes all Naruto and Shippuden arcs.


2. A Boruto edit is not planned until the series concludes and an English dub releases.
