This has edited "soft" English captions; that is, English subtitles are part of the MKV file and the subtitles can be enabled or disabled as you wish.

I downloaded the source video "Argylle.2024.1080p.WEBRip.x264.AAC5.1-[YTS.MX].mp4" and obtained English subtitles from subscene.com. Then I...
- Used a linear video editor to clean up the film to PG standards (see notes below)
- Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues
- Added 0.7 second to each subtitle (where possible) to allow more time to read them
- "Softened" all subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> wench etc.)
- Corrected commonly-found typos, also converting many word pairs into their common English contractions
- Used Handbrake to create the new MKV file, adding my subtitle file as soft captions

This is the typical profane American film which is ruined by all kinds of offensive language - 60 words/phrases in this case. For that reason and because of terrible plots, I've mostly stopped watching my own country's garbage in recent years. I've mostly seamlessly removed the following, and updated the subtitles and their timing accordingly:
