Kai's SuperGOO is divided into two rooms - Fusion and GOO. The Fusion Room comes with a diverse selection of male and female features: nose, eyes, lips, hair, and accessories such as hats and glasses. When the user enters the Fusion Room, a randomly generated photo-realistic face appears and from
there users can mix and match facial features from among hundreds of components, creating a seemingly infinite variety of characters. On the right side of the screen, six buttons allow users the option of stretching those facial features (horizontally and vertically), moving parts of the face, rotating the face, or making individual features larger or smaller. Facial features and accessories can be chosen from the left side.
Can You Say "Mutate"?
The Fusion Room also allows GOOers to quickly generate a random face from the GOO library with a single click of the "mutate" button. Drag "Gender Select" to choose between either male or female features, or a combination thereof. So whether it's Susan, Bob or "Pat," creating that one-of-a-kind face with Kai's SuperGOO will provide hours of family fun.
Room With a "GOO"
With Kai's SuperGOO, MetaCreations incorporates "liquid image" technology (also found in the original Power GOO) to smudge, stretch, smear, shrink and rotate faces, pictures and logos. SuperGOO picks up where Power GOO left off, offering users a new real-time zoom-in, zoom-out and pan feature; an increased number of brushes and so much more. With liquid-like movement, images change before users' eyes with a couple of simple clicks of the mouse.
The GOO room opens with Abraham Lincoln's picture, ready for GOOing action. Or, import a face created in Fusion and begin playing with nine different brushes and "GOO" effects to help jump-start the creative juices. There are no limits to the level of distortions available at the click of the mouse - from the delicate to the grotesque, from the subtle to the abstract. As an image is being SuperGOO'd to the creator's delight, each can easily be saved frame-by-frame to create an animated movie, or "GOOvie".
