LION'S ROAR is an independent, bimonthly magazine that offers accessible, authentic teachings from across the Buddhist spectrum.  It applies Buddhist insight, philosophy, and meditation techniques to all the important issues in life today—from health, parenting, and relationships to politics, social action, and the arts.  Every issue contains a directory of Buddhist meditation, retreat, and yoga centers.  Its editorial content is celebrated for its wide range of outstanding Buddhist teachings, the high quality of its writing, and the beauty of its art and design.

Initially launched by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche as an internal publication of the Shambhala community, it is published today by the independent, nonprofit Lion's Roar Foundation, and has evolved to become the largest-circulation Buddhist magazine in the English language.
