Rockford is a computer game developed by Arcadia Systems in 1988 and distributed by Electronic Arts for the Atari ST, Amiga, Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit, and IBM micros and compatible machines.
PLOT:
The player is on a treasure hunt, and visits five worlds to collect treasures without getting crushed by giant rocks.
The game was reviewed in 1989 in Dragon #141 by Hartley, Patricia, and Kirk Lesser in \"The Role of Computers\" column. The reviewers gave the game 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Since this game was originally meant to run on DOS, in order to play you need an emulator.
How To Play:
1. Download The File
2. UnRAR
3. Make a directory under your C: drive (Or whatever Your Main Drive Is) and call it \"Games\" or \"DOSgames\"
4. Place the UnRAR\'d rockford folder in this new directory.
5. Download, install, and run DOSbox ( http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1 )
6. In the console type in the following commands one at a time:
mount c c:\\games
c:
cd rockford
Rockford
There you go!
